Introduction to the board
The board consists of up to 10 people, of which 8 are elected at the general meeting and 2 student representatives who sit on the university board.
The chairman is elected at the general meeting, while the board constitutes itself with at least 1 vice chairman and 1 treasurer among the elected board members.
The board's tasks
The board is responsible for the organization's operations and manages the organization between general assemblies
To lead and manage SDS as a whole:
The board meets regularly to guide the organization through our organizational documents and our executive committee. Each year we choose to focus on different relevant topics and listen to and receive input from all our members.
Keep track of the organization's finances
The board reviews and votes on budgets across the entire organization, ensuring financial stability for Syddanske Studerende
Ensure a positive and welcoming culture
The board ensures that Syddanske Studerende has a pleasant culture by creating a social environment where all students can join and form new communities across SDU
