Who are we?
Syddanske Studerende is your student council at SDU!
We represent all students at SDU and look after your interests locally and nationally, to strengthen the study environment through academic, social and student political activities.

Semester-startsfesten
One of Denmark's biggest parties, organized by students for students. 2 days of music right in SDU's backyard!
Institutdysten
Institutdysten is a big social event for all students at the University of Southern Denmark. Institutdysten is held every year on 'The Students' Day' - a day when the calendar is cleared of classes in favor of a day of sports and celebration.
Wellbeing Week
Wellbeing Week is an initiative at SDU to strengthen wellbeing for us students. Wellbeing Week is held every year in week 11, where a lot of activities are organized, both formal and informal, such as presentations, shows, tournaments, debate presentations, conversation cafés, panel discussions, social gatherings and much much more.
Student Fair
Student Fair is the study start fair that gives you the opportunity to get to know SDU and Odense even better. If you are a new student at SDU or maybe you just want to hear about the exciting new opportunities Odense and SDU have to offer, then this is the perfect event for you to join!

How can I become an active member of SDS?
You can sign up as an active member of Syddanske Studerende. As an active member you get a lot of benefits such as access to our facilities, invitations to various cool events, newsletters and invitations to volunteer at our great events!
Can everyone be part of SDS?
All enrolled students at the University of Southern Denmark are automatically members of SDS - so you are already part of the community!
